Testimonials

As an integrative veterinarian and a UTCVM alumni who treats exotic animals, I feel it is very important to support the healthy trade of reptiles. I found an article written on Healthy Trade Institute in one of my veterinary journals and immediately knew I had to support this organization. I also have a few clients who are unable to keep their beloved pets so the Healthy Trade Adoption Program will be a wonderful asset to Autumn Green Animal Hospital.

Redline Shipping is proud to be partnering with the Healthy Trade Institute’s Nationwide Herp Adoption Program. As with any form of pet ownership, it’s not uncommon to come across someone who, for one reason or another, can no longer care for their pet reptile or amphibian. We’ve all heard the stories and seen the consequences of nonnative animals being abandoned or released into the wild, often to the detriment of many native species and ecosystems. That’s why Redline Shipping is honored to help HTI’s Nationwide Herp Adoption Program ethically rehome reptiles and amphibians in need with experienced and capable keepers. Together, we aim to protect native environments and improve the lives of these animals by providing overwhelmed owners with a positive and responsible solution. Join us in supporting the Healthy Trade Institute’s vision of ensuring the health and prosperity of both pets and wildlife alike!

Why did I choose the Healthy Trade Institute? First, I know my animals will be packaged and shipped with the utmost care. Second, I know they'll arrive healthy, because they've been certified free of common diseases. And third, I know they were properly cared for while at the adoption center.

HTI is amazing! I am so glad I found a place where I can rescue such sweet animals and know that they are healthy and well taken care of! Reegan was wonderful to talk to and helped me with the adoption and tips to make my baby's cage better to give him the best life!

Such an easy process! I adopted my girl from HTI, knowing she had already been checked out by a veterinarian and professionals. That gave me so much peace of mind as a first time snake owner. Their team made sure I had the correct setup and walked me through the expected timeline of her growth. Legs has been a fantastic addition to my family, and I can't thank HTI enough for their surrender support, as she had been through a few homes already.

I absolutely recommend adopting from the Healthy Trade Institute! I adopted my beautiful boa Cheech from there during an expo. Knowing that she was certified healthy through a veterinarian and through pathogen testing was icing on the cake. Everyone that works there was super helpful in answering any questions about her, and she came with a packet about her veterinary history and a care guide for me to have on hand!
